Aizawl, June 8, 2022 : Agriculture Minister Pu C. Lalrinsanga today inaugurated the 45-day Agri-Clinics and Agri-Business Centers (AB & ABC) Scheme at the State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI) Conference Hall training is open.
Minister Pu C. Lalrinsanga in his speech thanked the youths who came out for the training and advised them not to waste the 45-day training SAMETI, Mizoram is the only one that can organize training. The Minister said that the importance of development among the youth is increasing. He wished the participants to learn skills and knowledge that will create employment opportunities for others and farmers. He said that the most beautiful dress for a country is hard work. He requested the beneficiaries to use the training with a long-term vision as one of the objectives of the scheme is to turn skills into employment and income.
The training was organized by SAMETI, Mizoram and National Institute of Agriculture Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad. The training aims to encourage educated people to have employment in the agricultural sector and to provide skills to farmers. The theme of the scheme is ‘Better farming by every farmer’.
