In Himachal Pradesh constituency PM Modi inaugurates Vande Bharat Express and launches projects on Thursday

After the launch of the Vande Bharat Express in Una, the Prime Minister will inaugurate various projects at Chaugan Maidan in Chamba district during a public program at noon and lay the foundations of various projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the fourth Vande Bharat Express train on Thursday, laying the foundation for various projects in Una and Chamba districts of Himachal Pradesh.

The Prime Minister will arrive at Jhaleda Police Line by helicopter and drop off the Vande Bharat Express at Una Railway Station at 9.15am.

The train will chug from Delhi to Amb Andaura station in Una, officials told PTI. The train operates six days a week except Wednesdays with stops at Ambala, Chandigarh, Anandpur Sahib and Una.

After the inauguration ceremony, he will then hold a public meeting at the Indira Gandhi Stadium. He will also lay the foundation stone for the first bulk drug park in Haroli and the new Una-Hamirpur railway line.

He will then leave for the Chamba district. The Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation for various projects on the Chaugan Maidan as part of a public program at noon.

After his speech to the public assembly, he will leave Chamba and return to Delhi via Pathankot in the afternoon.

The Prime Minister’s visit to Himachal Pradesh comes ahead of elections to be held later this year.

Last month, PM Modi deregistered the third Vande Bharat Express in another election-bound state of Gujarat. This train runs from Gandhinagar to Mumbai.
