Last year’s find from Chennai Super Kings, left-arm sailor Mukesh Choudhary of Maharashtra and Saurashtra’s Chetan Sakariya were included in Team India’s T20 World Cup roster as a net bowler.
Mukesh and Chetan are understood to have joined the team on the Perth leg of the tour as most teams have a left arm sailor in their ranks and India’s Arshdeep Singh will need a break between games.
“Mukesh and Chetan flew in with the team yesterday. From now on they will be with the team for the leg in Perth where India are due to play a few training games.” According to India’s training schedule in Perth, they will have three days of rigorous training for five hours on October 8, 9 and 12 between 11:00 and 16:00, while two T20 warm-up matches will be held on October 10 and 13.
