Shah, Nadda on inauguration of BJP office in Guwahati, speech

The union minister, who is in Assam for a three-day visit starting Friday, will also chair a review meeting on the North Eastern Space Application Center (NESAC) in the evening

Union Interior Minister and BJP President JP Nadda will inaugurate the party’s newly established state office in Beltola in the capital Assam and address a rally of party staff on Saturday, according to their planned programme. Nadda will then leave the state, while Shah will hold a meeting on drugs with the premiers, chief secretaries and chief executive officers of the northeastern states.

The union minister, who is in Assam for a three-day visit starting Friday, will also chair a review meeting on the North Eastern Space Application Center (NESAC) in the evening. On Sunday, Shah will offer prayers at the Kamakhya Temple and address the North East Council (NEC) Plenary Session at the Administrative Staff College.

He will leave for Dergaon in Golaghat district to open the national police superintendents’ conference on Sunday afternoon. He will then depart from Jorhat Airport to New Delhi.
