Shardul Thakur’s travel bags disappear at Mumbai airport, “sorry” comes from Harbhajan Singh

Shardul Thakur asked for help on Wednesday when his gear bags disappeared inside Mumbai Airport’s Terminal 2. Former India nutcase Harbhajan Singh was quick to respond and asked for help, but by that time staff from another airline had already helped the Team India all-rounder.

Shardul tweeted: “@airindiain can you send someone to help me at the baggage carousel? Not the first time my kit bags haven’t arrived and no staff on site either!!”

Harbhajan Singh, former Indian cricketer and current Rajyasabha MP for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was quick to reply, quoting Shardul’s tweet and writing: “My dear we will make sure you get your bag and our staff will be there to help you…sorry for the inconvenience…(Ex Airindian Bhajji) we love you.

Bhajji, along with other contemporary cricketers, was an Air India employee during his cricket days. Thanking Harbhajan for the help, Shardul said: “@harbhajan_singh Bhajji pa loves you too ❤️ I got help from @flyspicejet staff.”

Shardul Thakur played a crucial role in India’s 2-1 win over South Africa. The all-rounder is likely to travel to Australia alongside fellow pacesetters Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj to join India’s T20 World Cup squad.
