After a few training games in Perth, Rohit Sharma’s Team India arrived in Brisbane on Saturday. Team India will play two warm-up games against Australia and New Zealand respectively at the Gabba in Brisbane. The Board of Control for Cricket in India took to Twitter and posted a video of the Indian team’s trip to Brisbane. In the video, the players can be seen greeting fans and signing autographs. “Touchdown Brisbane,” BCCI captioned the video on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the BCCI announced on Friday that veteran pacesetter Mohammed Shami will replace injured Jasprit Bumrah in India’s squad.
Mohammed Siraj and Shardul Thakur have also been added to the team as substitutes.
Despite the injuries, Rohit insisted that with the players available, the team was up for the challenge.
“Injuries are part of sport. Injuries will happen when we play that many games, so our focus over the past year has been to build bench strength,” Rohit told reporters at a news conference in Melbourne.
“Our focus is trying to create backups and give them opportunities. The bowlers that came with us to the World Cup played enough games.”
India in particular has not won an ICC trophy since 2013 when they won the Champions Trophy in England.
India play Australia in their first warm-up game on Monday before taking on New Zealand on Wednesday.
They will begin their campaign against Pakistan on October 23 in Melbourne.
