Indian cricket star Virat Kohli has an excellent connection with the fans and it’s no hidden secret. No matter where Virat goes, the fans follow him. Ahead of Team India’s training match against Western Australia at WACA, Kohli signed a number of fans for autographs. The video of the talismanic Indian batter signing autographs and greeting fans ahead of the first practice game has been getting a lot of traction on social media. Here is the video:

Kohli is a global cricket superstar who enjoys an enviable following on social media. He wasn’t at his best earlier this year but has bounced back in style in recent games.

After a century of scoring in the Asian Cup against Afghanistan, Kohli scored some crucial goals for India in the T20I appearances against Australia and South Africa. He was looking handsome as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video of him batting in the nets in Australia.

Despite Kohli’s stature and goalscoring prowess, there are some who believe he may end his T20I career after completing the 2022 T20 World Championship. When asked for his opinion on the matter, the great Viv Richards revealed how highly he rates Kohli.

“To be fair, I know these are two people who have served the cricket world well. They are great players. I don’t want to go into how they play. I admire them like I admire Sunil Gavaskar who I played against. I’m a fan of great batting and India has produced some great batsmen over the years,” Richards told journalist Vimal Kumar.

As for India’s upcoming matches, Rohit Sharma’s men are set to take on Australia and New Zealand in a couple of warm-up matches before the 2022 T20 World Cup kicks off for them against Pakistan.
